Moles
Carnivorous (only eating animal life), Moles absolutely refuse legendary remedies
such as poison peanuts and gum. One can tunnel up to 100 feet per day, leaving long
"runs" and large mounds of uprooted lawn. Similar to a fish in a pond, its location is
very difficult to pinpoint.
To deal with them we use a combination of several trap systems and an underground
bait. This bait mimics earthworms that make up 90% of a mole's diet. Since the bait is
placed underground where moles live, this baiting system is both effective and safe.
Voles
Often mis-identified as a mole, but often using their runs, Voles are herbivores (only
eating plant life). Commonly destroying ornamental plants by eating their roots,
effective elimination must be pursued in a very different manner.
